About IAAPC

The Indian Association for Air Pollution Control (IAAPC) was formed in Banaras Hindu University on 18th\ September 1976 by Prof G.D.Agrawal (then Prof at IIT Kanpur) and Prof D.N.Rao, Dept of Botany, BHU. The activities of IAAPC were shifted to Delhi in 1980-1981, after Prof. G. D. Agrawal became the Member Secretary of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). IAAPC was formally registered in Delhi under the Societies Registration Act 1860 on the 3rd September 1985 vide Registration No. S/15993. The Registered address of IAAPC was c/o CPCB, 6th Floor, Skylark Building, 60, Nehru Place, New Delhi 110019.
